Error Checker

More data is produced and consumed with every passing year, and its importance in the modern world continues to grow exponentially. This brings great benefits to organisations, but also new risks. The Error Checker ensures that any data you handle has been verified with state-of-the-art analytics.

This helps you to tackle data-quality problems early, ensuring good customer service with no surprises.

The examples below show how the system flags up anomalies, in a set of data on local government finance.

The intuitive colour-coded overlay shows which items are higher or lower than expected, and by how much.

Our Offering

By using the system, you can expect:

Accuracy. Our advanced algorithms are able to process any dataset, to find patterns and spot anomalies.

Clarity. An intuitive reporting framework, shown in the sample report below, makes it easy to see which entries are likely to be problematic.

Privacy. Our privacy masking process delivers the full benefits of the error checking process, whilst ensuring that no sensitive data ever leaves your system.

The full sample report is available below, and the PDF file gives a detailed explanation of the process.

Pricing and Billing

Pricing: The process analyses one data table at a time, and the pricing is set up to reflect this. Each table incurs a flat fee of £25, plus £4 per 100 rows and £4 per column metric. For example if a dataset has 4,000 rows and 18 columns, the price will be £257.

Billing: Simply pay for what you use – there is no minimum monthly order or subscription fee. Use the service whenever you need it, and pause or cancel at any time.

Additional servicesIn addition to the Error Checking service, we offer bespoke analytical consultancy as a service. This covers data analysis, process automation, building interactive dashboards with Microsoft’s Power BI, and developing systems for your specific needs. Our standard rate is £600 per day.
